The button box is a simple control device used for local operation and status indication of equipment. It is widely employed in settings such as factory workshops, pump stations, and equipment rooms, serving as a supplement to larger control systems to facilitate emergency operations or status checks by personnel near the equipment. Its core functions and design features include:
• Simple Operation Interface: Configured with buttons like Start, Stop, Emergency Stop, and Reset based on equipment control needs (e.g., a motor control button box may feature three buttons: "Start,""Stop," and "Emergency Stop"). The buttons are designed with built-in indicator lights, which illuminate when pressed, providing clear visual feedback on the operation status. Additionally, it is equipped with Running and Fault indicator lights, allowing operators to quickly assess the equipment's operational condition.
• Flexible Adaptation and Installation: The compact housing (common size: 200mm × 150mm × 100mm) supports wall-mounted or embedded installation, enabling flexible placement according to on-site space constraints. Internally, it features reserved wiring terminals that allow interconnection with components such as contactors and relays, making it adaptable to equipment of different power ratings (e.g., motors ranging from 0.75 kW to 75 kW).
• Safety Protection Design: The enclosure is made of ABS engineering plastic or cold-rolled steel plate (with powder-coated surface finish), achieving a protection rating of IP54 to resist dust and water splashes. The emergency stop button features a red mushroom head design, complying with safety operation standards. When pressed, it can forcibly cut off the equipment's power supply, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment in emergencies.
• Anti-Misoperation Features: Some models support button locking functions (e.g., the start button requires rotation to unlock before it can be pressed), preventing unauthorized or accidental operation by unauthorized personnel. Additionally, the button spacing is ≥15mm to avoid accidental pressing of adjacent buttons by the operator.
